Camp Gitchigomee is a Christian, not-for-profit summer camp located at the east end of beautiful Sandstone Lake, about a 75 minute drive southwest of Thunder Bay. Camp Gitchigomee was established in 1945 by the Thunder Bay Deanery Anglican churches, and became a not-for profit corporation in 2007. It continues to be administered, maintained and supported by volunteers and local Anglican parishes.

The camp offers:

1. Three Week-Long (6 day) Co-ed Camps in July for children ages 7-9 (Junior), 10-12 (Intermediate), & 13-15 (Senior). Activities at the camp include archery, bible studies, canoeing, campfire, land & water games, light duties, nature studies and swimming. The all-inclusive fees ($275 per week) includes daily tuck and return bus transportation to pick-up locations in Kakabeka Falls and both Fort William and Port Arthur in Thunder Bay.
